Originally from Indiana, Mauro moved to L.A. in 2006 to pursue a career in modeling and acting. He started his modeling career when he did a model search in Los Angeles and tried to get in some of the local modeling agencies but they rejected him.
His luck changed a few months later when he was scouted by Al David while working at an Abercrombie and Fitch store, which eventually lead to him becoming a model for the company.
His following exposure on the cover of "Out" magazine and several fashion news spreads lead to his early assignments with renowned photographers Bruce Weber and Tony Duran and a few others, but Clint didn't achieved his supermodel status until in August 2007, when he was featured in Armani Exchange underwear campaign.
Standing 6'2" feet tall, Mauro's hobbies
include writing, acting, snowboarding, working out, playing basketball, going to nice restaurants for dinner and loves to listen to music like Blink 182, Green Day, the Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the Killers.
When asked who he'd love to meet? He says, "Clint Eastwood. My father actually named me after him. I admire his work and the path that he took to get there." With the success he's had so far, Mauro is on the same path leading to fame.
