Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill (born 5 May 1983) age 26, is a British Actor. He is best known for his portrayal of Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk, on the Showtime series "The Tudors".

Cavill was born in Jersey and was educated at St. Michael's Preparatory School on the Island, before attending Stowe School, an English boarding school, where he acted in many plays. "In prep school, I really learned to love the stage. When you step out from the wings and into the lights, there's this incredible rush of adrenaline and fear and anticipation; it's just something else, it really is." He has four brothers, three older and one younger.
