BIOGRAPHY
Brenton Thwaites (born 1989) is an AustralianActor, best known for portraying Luke Gallagher in the Fox8 teen drama series,SLiDE, and Stu Henderson in the soap opera Home and Away.
hwaites was born in Cairns, Queensland in 1989. He underwent secondary education at Cairns State High School in Far North Queensland, with his senior year held in 2008. Thwaites studied acting at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and he graduated in 2011. He then relocated to Sydney to join the long-running soap opera Home and Away and to pursue his career in acting.

In February 2012 The Sydney Morning Herald announced Brenton had signed on to play the male lead in the US Made-for-Television film
The Blue Lagoon. The series is a remake of the 1980 film of the same name. Brenton will star alongside fellow Australian Actor Indiana Evans whom has also appeared on Home and Away before Brenton. The film will also star Denise Richards and Christopher Atkins and will premiere on Lifetime. Filming began in February 2012 at Puerto Rico. This will mark as Brenton's first international Acting role.
